The Rev.  Dr. Vincent Pizzuto

Father Pizzuto is Professor of New Testament Studies and Christian Mysticism at the University of San Francisco. As an Episcopal priest he also serves as Vicar of St. Columba’s Church and Retreat House in Inverness, CA., where he continues to grow a nationally recognized Center for Contemplative Christianity. Fr. Pizzuto’s most recent book Contemplating Christ: The Gospels and the Interior Life (2018) was translated into Spanish (2022) and is presently being translated into Chinese (forthcoming 2026). His current manuscript explores the intersection between the burgeoning field of consciousness studies and Christian spirituality.

Nicole T. Waters

Spent the past twenty years serving the church and non-profits in the U.S., Middle East, and South Asia and is now answering the call to the Holy Orders of priesthood in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. She holds an MA (Winebrenner Theological Seminary) and ThM (Candler School of Theology, Emory University) in Theology and is a Doctoral Candidate at Winebrenner studying congregational engagement with contemplative practice.

Mike Potter

 Mike Potter has been involved with Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. for the past twenty-two years, is a commissioned presenter of both Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina workshops, and has led many workshops and retreats featuring these contemplative spiritual practices. He has served on the Lectio Divina Service Team since 2006.

Lesley O'Connor 

Lesley is a presenter of Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina. She holds a MA in Applied Spirituality with a focus on Visio Divina. Lesley has served Contemplative Outreach Ltd., locally and internationally, currently serving on the Lectio Divina Service Team. 

Cheri Hudspith

Cheri is the Co-Director of Practice Collective, where she offers spiritual direction and supervision. She also supervises people training to become a spiritual director via Selah at Leadership Transformations. Her roles often present her with the opportunity to teach people the practice of Lectio Divina.
